In the summer of 2000, two items were purchased for the House. The first was an early Victorian ebonised and red boulle pier cabinet. It has a frieze drawer and a glazed door within ornate ormolu mounts. The boulle work consists of marquetry in red tortoiseshell and brass. The cabinet is situated in the Library.
The second item was a pair of 17” Victorian Chinese vases for the Saloon.
