Victorian Oval Mirror

In March 2000 Alec and Joan Burnett, founder members of the Friends, kindly donated an elegant oval mirror, which has been restored and now hangs over the mantlepiece in the Blue Room.

A Victorian gilt and gesso wall mirror, bevelled oval glass within ribboned and floral border; applied cresting with roses, leaf work, putti holding wreaths and sitting on laurel twigs.
