The book shop is one of the ways we raise funds to support the preservation and improvement of Hylands House and the estate and we are always looking for members who would like to volunteer in the Shop.
We are very flexible and appreciate any kind of help - some volunteers do a monthly morning or afternoon session, some do a weekly session, some fortnightly, and some are on the reserve list on the day most suitable for them. Having a reserve list means that volunteers have a list of people whom they can contact if they cannot do their session. We try to have two people there for each session.
