What an excellent turn-out we had for our first meeting of the bookshop team. 53 of our members were able to attend.
We met at the Stable Block to view the bookshop then over to the elegance of the Drawing Room - to go over the operational procedures which are laid out in a very informative booklet.
Then, Tea and Biscuits in the Blue Room for an informal get-to-know one another.
Our thanks to Stan Kaluza for the marvellous work he has done to bring the bookshop to fruition. Also to Martin Easteal, Wendy Hibbitt and Stan Dolphin for sorting the mountain of book, categorising and pricing.
The rota is covered but there are still a few places where people are on their own. It would be preferable to have at least two people on duty at any time.
