The Friends' Executive Committee invited Sue Ireland, Director of Parks and Heritage, to join them in the Civic Centre, before their March meeting, for a farewell get together. On behalf of the Friends, Martin Easteal presented Sue with a painting, specially commissioned by the Friends, showing aspects of Hylands. Sue, and her friendly smile, will be missed.
